Hi, my name is Bob Johnson and I am a semi professional wildlife photographer based in England, working mostly in the Lee Valley Nature Park and Epping Forest just to the north east of London.

My favourite subjects are birds and mammals although I do like to take the occasional shot of a human being. Trips to Africa, Canada and India have served to fuel my love for wildlife and hopefully you will find this passion reflected in the images on this site. In March 2009 I gained my Associateship of The Royal Photographic Society in the nature catagory.

I take on a variety of commissions and I also give talks and tuiton on nature photography so please look at my 'Talks & Tuition' section.

I organise a photographic safari to Tanzania each year and the 2010 safari was a fantastic success so do please look at my news section for details of the 2011 trip which will be from the 5th to the 20th of February. This will be my fifth trip to Tanzania and for 2011 I will be leading the trip along with my old friend Mike Wilkes FRPS who has over twenty years experience of leading trips to Africa.
