I will be running a 16 night photography trip to Tanzania leaving on February 9th 2013 and returning back to the UK on February 25th.This will be a full on photography trip with 13 action packed days of photography in some of the very best game parks in Africa. We will have the services of the top driver guides in Tanzania who will be taking us to The Serengeti, Lake Manyara & Tarangire National Parks together with The Ngorongoro Crater and the Ndutu Plains.
Our visit is timed to see the Great Migration which is usually in Ndutu & the Serengeti at this time of the year. We will stay in top quality lodges with great food and first class service.
The trip will suit all skill levels and I will be there to help and advise the less experienced. If the numbers allow we will have a separate teaching truck together with trucks for the more experienced. We will have three or four truck’s all with radios which will allow each truck to be independent when on safari. This is very important as each truck can pick and choose where to go and how much time to spend with each subject. It also means that between the trucks we will be able to cover more ground giving us a better chance to find the more exciting subjects.
The price is £3,750 per person based on sharing a twin room with a maximum of three photographers per truck. The trucks are open topped and have seven seats in the back. The seats are in three rows which will allow one row per photographer and will give easy access to both sides of the truck. The passenger seat in the front of the truck is available for a non photographer.
Single rooms may be available for an extra £500.
The price includes all your food and accommodation, all the park fees and the flying doctor service. The flights are extra and will be approximately £750 to £795 providing that you book nice and early.
Bottled drinking water is provided in the trucks each day but bar drinks, tips and laundry is not included.
